Our picturesque yet comfortable holiday home, equipped with all modern conveniences, is located in Bretteville-sur-Ay, a charming village with a rich history. The building was once a weaving mill.
Immerse yourself in the peace, tranquility, and space. Normandy boasts a beautiful landscape that invites you to walk for hours. Enjoy the beaches and the rich history. Or, when the sea and wind are at their best, a breath of fresh air is a must.
Stroll through Bretteville, and don’t forget to visit Saint Germain (directly across from your holiday home) or the alleyway of the Forge in Bretteville. The villages around Bretteville are too numerous to visit in one holiday. We look forward to welcoming you back to our holiday home, Gite la Bignone. Unfortunately, our holiday home is not accessible for guests with disabilities; the two bedrooms and bathroom are on the second floor.

The ground floor features a comfortable living room with a wood-burning stove, a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, coffee maker, gas stove, and combination microwave. A toilet is also available.
Upstairs: a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a second toilet. Two bedrooms (one with two single beds and one with twin beds).
Suitable for four adults and one child, or two adults and three children.
A lovely, private garden where children and four-legged friends can play safely is also provided. It also features a comfortable lounge set and a garden furniture set.
Gite la Bignone is located on a well-lit street in a safe and quiet neighborhood.
During the summer months there is a small shop in the street, La Pailotte, and a bread machine with fresh baguettes every day. In the other months you can walk through the dunes or along the beach to Saint Germain Sur Ay to get fresh bread at the Proxy.
